Do you want to know what’s REALLY happening to the working force of America? Reality check, it’s not very good. To give you a glimpse, please refer to the infograph below.

 

 

 

 

More than half of America’s working population isn’t happy about their job. Even if that is the case, they are still working more than the required 40 hours a week. If you can read between the lines, you can easily say that our lives are getting harder year after year. If not, why would be both parents in a household need to work? Before, only 1 works and he or she can still provide for the whole family. If you will do it in the present era, you’ll be cut short.

 

I actually like their graph about the different countries that prohibit employees to work over 48 hours a week. The countries that work less have happier people. Isn’t that more important?

 

It is recommended that you go home on time. If not badly needed, don’t file for overtime. It will just make you more stressed and money won’t be able to cure it.
