’50 Discontinued Olympic Events You Won’t See In 2012′ is an infographic about novelty gifts.

When I first saw this graph, I couldn’t help it but laugh. Most of the events written are at par with kid’s parlor games. You can blame the human nature of being imaginative, innovative and experimental.

Yes, the infograph is humorous. But looking at a more serious note, we can say that the Olympics is ever changing and dynamic. It is also safe to say that with this inforgraph, we can tell that building such massive sporting event took years to improve.

I would recommend this infograph for serious Olympic buffs. It’s not just about learning the history. Knowing this will help us appreciate the Olympics we have.

Oh, and who knows if the future generations will laugh at the Olympics we currently have *wink*.
