You have been unemployed for months now. You are beginning to think that it’s your fault. Perhaps, you are thinking that you are not good enough. However, there might be other contributing factors on why you are still a couch potato. The infograph below might give you a hint.

 

What I love about the illustration above is that job hunters can easily narrow down their ‘job hunting activities’. They can stop looking for jobs in places where there is low employment rate or where the demand is really low. Also, this can give you an unfair leverage.

If you are in the IT industry or you are good in sales, this is the best time to hone your skills. Just so  you know, a lot of companies are hiring people in the said industries. If you are one of them, take advantage of it. For those who are not included, you don’t have to worry. There are other job opportunities for you.
