If the present adults are not responsible enough with their finances, how do you expect that the future generation will?

After your kid graduated from college, you think that your financial obligation is over. But only few parents experience that. A lot of adults still depend on their parents in overcoming their monthly expenditures. To be honest, these kids are not to blame. I think that you, as a parent, could have done something for your children to become independent.

Around 50% of adults don’t have their own homes. That’s fine if your kids are around 20s to 30s. But once they reach the 30 –  year –  old mark, they should have enough to pay for a mortgage. Otherwise, they will think that it’s fine to depend on you.

What you can do is to teach them how to manage their money at a very young age. This is not only beneficial to you, but to them as well. If the present adults are not responsible enough with their finances, how do you expect that the future generation will?
